Communication and Media Studies Minor
Department of Communication and Media Studies
Division of Humanities and Fine Arts
Communication and Media Studies (CMS) minors can study a wide range of topics while developing essential media literacy skills. Students have the option to explore the field broadly, or they can tailor their program to focus on a particular topic or area of study. By minoring in CMS, students establish a foundational understanding of how humans communicate, how media industries are structured, and leave with a better understanding of our shared culture. The CMS minor pairs well with nearly every major and from across divisions.
